NoMachine (NX) is the software that handles your X Windows System connection with the Spear cluster. NX greatly improves the performance of the X11 display protocol and makes it practical to use a remote system for interactive work even when your network connection is very poor. The client (in X11 jargon, the display server) is the software that runs on your desktop and can be downloaded freely. You don't need to download the NX server software.
