All general access and owner based active accounts are created weekdays at 10:15am. Your account will be placed into the queue to be created once your sponsor or departmental approver clicks on the appropriate "approved" link in the application email.

General Access Acount

You first need to have an FSU faculty member, who already has an HPC account, sponsor your HPC account. The sponsor's account does not need to be "active" (i.e., they can have an HPC account only to sponsor students and post-docs, but not able to login to the cluster). There is a checkbox under the text box for the faculty member to input their FSU-ID to indicate "Active Account" or not. A non-active faculty account will be created within 5 minutes, and then you can choose your sponsor from the drop down box when you apply for an account. If the sponsor selects an "active" account, his/her account will be created at the default weekday time of 10:15am, then you will be able to choose your sponsor from the drop down menu.

Owner Based Accounts

If you are applying for an owner based account, there is a designated department approver for accounts. Please be specific during the application process who your advisor is to help streamline the approval process.
