Hardware Overview

The FSU HPC consists of four head nodes, 128 compute nodes (512 cores), 78 TB usable storage, and non-blocking Infiniband and IP communication fabrics.  The system is divided up into general access and owner-based components.  The general access part consists of 136 cores with 22.6 TB storage and the owner-based part consists of 376 cores with 55.4 TB of storage. The owner-base part is divide among COAPS (152 cores, 22.4 TB), Meteorology (152 cores, 22.4 TB), and the SCS (72 cores, 10.6TB).  Each of these units provided funds this year for compute and storage components.
