Don Gilber's ReadSeq is the classic molecular sequence format conversion tool. It recognizes about a dozen different sequence formats and allows the conversion back and forth between them. Using ReadSeq on HPCReadSeq should be available on all HPC nodes. Merely type the command readseq and interact with the menu. Note that ReadSeq asks for an output file name first, not an input file name. It can also be run completely through the command line so that it can be included in scripts, etc. See the help file for further information. |
